JOB PURPOSE

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is offering a one-year internship program aimed at equipping unemployed Kenyan graduates with practical work experience.

The program is part of the Government Youth Initiative designed to develop skills, enhance employability, and prepare young professionals for the Kenyan labour market.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in assigned departmental tasks under supervision
  • Gain hands-on experience in day-to-day organizational operations
  • Support administrative, technical, or operational functions depending on placement
  • Work with teams to deliver assigned duties and projects
  • Learn workplace processes, systems, and professional practices
  • Contribute to achieving departmental objectives

(Note: Specific duties will be assigned by supervisors based on department placement)


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution
  • Must be an unemployed Kenyan youth aged 20–34 years
  • Must have graduated within the last 4 years
  • Must not have undertaken any internship or formal work experience since graduation
  • Must be available for the full 1-year program
