Orchid HR Outsourcing is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support sales growth, manage client relationships, and provide excellent customer experience through outbound communication and follow-ups.
The role involves driving product sales, handling customer inquiries, and supporting the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls to contractors, hardware shops, developers, and distributors
- Promote and sell company products
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products/services
- Generate leads and convert inquiries into sales
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and objections professionally
- Follow up on quotations, orders, and payments
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify upselling opportunities
- Provide accurate information on pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with logistics and production teams for timely delivery
- Update CRM systems and prepare daily/weekly sales reports
- Record customer interactions and feedback
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in building materials, construction, or manufacturing industry
- Tele-sales experience is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of the construction industry preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
