About the Role

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will work closely with experienced quality assurance professionals and cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and quality of Teak’s technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing and Documentation

  • Create and execute manual test cases.
  • Perform regression testing for new releases and updates.
  • Document test results, defects, and testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate testing records and process documentation.

Test Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate with senior QA engineers and product owners.
  • Create and update test cases in TestRail.
  • Align testing activities with business requirements and user stories.
  • Participate in exploratory testing of new and existing features.

Bug Reporting and Quality Improvement

  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved correctly.
  • Communicate testing progress and findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Learning and Development

  • Learn modern testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Explore automation testing concepts using tools like Playwright.
  • Experiment with AI-powered testing and productivity tools.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and sprint activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand project requirements and design relevant test cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript programming.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in software quality assurance.

No Prior QA Experience Required
