Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will work within the Data Platform team to design, build, optimize, and maintain data systems that support analytics, reporting, and business insights.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders while contributing across implementation, testing, monitoring, and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations
  • Develop analytics-ready data models and reporting structures
  • Create ingestion workflows and API integrations
  • Optimize CDC (Change Data Capture) pipelines
  • Implement testing, monitoring, and observability practices
  • Support data governance and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and business logic
  • Use AI-powered engineering tools to improve development efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
  • Advanced SQL knowledge including joins, CTEs, and window functions
  • Hands-on experience with dbt
  • Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouse platforms
  • Python experience for workflow automation
  • Experience with Airflow and orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with Git-based development workflows
  • Experience working with AWS services
  • Understanding of observability, monitoring, and platform reliability
