Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Own the sales, volume, and margin targets for top-tier Modern Trade accounts, developing joint business plans that align with company objectives.
- Negotiation & Planning: Lead complex negotiations regarding pricing, promotions, and trading terms. Develop accurate forecasts to ensure sustainable business growth.
- In-Store Excellence: Coach and support teams of Supervisors and Merchandisers to ensure brand presence and execution standards are met at the point of sale.
- Data-Driven Insights: Translate complex shopper and category data into actionable growth initiatives. Conduct regular reviews to mitigate risks and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Concept Selling: Lead the end-to-end management of sales concepts, from initial strategy to successful market launch.
- Financial Management: Oversee account reconciliation, debt management, and ensure timely collections.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to streamline service delivery and innovation.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related commercial field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Key Account Management or Sales, specifically within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
- Modern Trade Expertise: A strong background in managing strategic key accounts within a modern retail environment.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and various sales reporting tools; a sharp ability to turn data into strategic action.
- Soft Skills: Resilient, self-driven, and highly comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
